Made appt same morning and showed up 745am...nobody in parkinh lot no customers..guy tells me oil change is 95 bucks..i said really ok ..then he said you have to make appt..i replied i already did..about 630 am this morning..he then said well you cant make appointment on same day....im like wow really...and i just left...if i made appt and no customers here and he says there is only 1 guy here to do oil changes..why was i not served ..i made appt..and aarived 2 hrs later right when you opened......but thanks paynes auto for NOTHING..will take my services else where..seems like with no customers in parking lot i still couldnt get service ...to make a appt for oil change is unheard of ..only takes 20 min when you are not busy to change oil if tht...not 1 single car in the parking lot

We apologize that we did not meet your expectation. We do oil changes by appointment only and have for years. It allows us to better serve our customers in an efficient manner. There were no appointments available on the day referenced because we were already fully booked. We have no reference in our computer or phone system of you having any appointments. I can not give this company enough praise! Our jeep Cherokee had to have both engine mounts replaced as well the spark plugs. It is running great! Jason and his team were able to get us in ahead of our scheduled appointment, diagnose the issue and have the car back to us in less than 24 hours. They are a family owned business that clearly cares about their customer. As long as we reside in the Houston area we will continue to only go to Payne’s Automotive for our car repair needs.

I went in because my coolant light came on. When I got there I told them to please check everything. They ran the diagnostic and something came up. Instead of just fixing it they turned the check engine light off and said they "want to run it again" instead of just correcting what the diagnostic came up with. I went back in 2 weeks later because my check engine light came on again. I had an hour before I had to be at work and they still said they couldn't run the diagnostic and I would have to leave my car there. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because they fixed my water pump in a timely manner.

We are sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations. When your vehicle arrived, it was so low on oil that the engine was rattling. Before we could accurately condemn any parts, we had to change the oil. Low oil levels can cause the specific code that was present in your vehicle. I apologize if this was not adequately explained to you at the time of service. There was not going to be any additional fees for continuing the diagnostic process. We have a very busy shop and are not able to accommodate walk-in diagnostics for people that want to wait. Vehicles need to be dropped off so that we can work them in with our existing work load. Again, I apologize that your expectations were not meet. If you would like to discuss this further, please call the office and ask for Jason.

My appointment request online was answered right away. The appointment made, an uber called to take me back home and picked up when vehicle was ready. Vehicle repair fixed and I am able to ride with the air on now that it's very hot!!! Thank You Payne's Automotive.
